AGS PARTICIPATED IN THE DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITY OF RUSSIA'S HUMANITARIAN AID

AGS PARTICIPATED IN THE DISTRIBUTION ACTIVITY OF RUSSIA'S HUMANITARIAN AID

In the morning of November 13th, 2017, the local government of 2 provinces - Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen, the other appropriate authorities and aviation units at Cam Ranh International Airport had cooperated to perform the essential procedure in order to hand over, transport and distribute Russia's humanitarian aid to the people who have been influenced by Typhoon Damrey in Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen.

Russian President Vladimir Putin in particular and Russia in general desired relief activities could be performed promptly in order to overcome the consequence causing by Typhoon Damrey and decide to issue the instruction to provide $5 million in financial assistance. This instruction came following Putin's discussion with the Russian prime minister, emergencies minister and finance minister regarding the situation in Vietnam, which was devastated by Typhoon Damrey last weekend. On November 09th, 2017, aircraft IL76 landed in Khanh Hoa Province's Cam Ranh International Airport with 40 tons of humanitarian assistance.

Aviation Ground Services Co., Ltd (AGS) was honor to be assigned the task participating in handling this flight, arranging and transferring the cargos to the warehouse, and cooperating with the relevant units, then transporting and handing over to the appropriate authorities of Khanh Hoa and Phu Yen. All the activities had been carried out quickly so that the people in typhoon-hit areas could receive the relief supplies as soon as possible.  

Attending to handling procedure of this flight, Mr. Nhan in Ramp Services department - AGS company said that: " We try our best to serve this flight in safely and hope that persons in typhoon-hit areas can receive relief items in the earliest time possible”

Khanh Hoa’s provincial army setion, Khanh Hoa’s Red Cross and aviation ground services companies at Cam Ranh International Airport cooperated to load the relief supplies on the trucks.
