After Tet holiday, the outbreak of novel coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid 19) has spread rapidly and become the anxiety among the general public, the complicated, uncertain and prolonged development of its has created an enormous public health impact and economic and societal disruption. As one of the aviation ground handling companies in Vietnam, is providing services at Cam Ranh International Airport - one of Vietnam's entrances that is believed to be at high risk of spread, in response to the appeal of Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, AGS has initiatively and positively deployed anti-epidemic measures such as disinfection of working areas and ground service equipment; issuing medical face mask, gloves and glasses, and wearing it during flight handling procedure; performing hand hygiene frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub; limited the unnecessary meeting,... Especially, on February 15th and March 22th, AGS had proud to have contributed to successfully handle 3 Vietnam Airlines' flights taking passengers to and from 2 diseases areas (VN6781 - bringing back 148 China citizens to their homes, VN301 and VN321 - picking 472 Vietnam citizens up back from Japan), cooperating with airport authorities, each AGS member had tried their best to make flight smoothly, each AGS member had closely cooperated with airport authorities as well as tried their best to make flight smoothly from assisting passengers throughout check-points to collaborating with quarantine in baggage disinfection.

Viet Nam is entering the third phase of the COVID-19 fight, as risks of community spreading are high, and the next 20 – 25 days will be a big challenge to the country’s efforts in combating the disease, according to the Prime Minister.
